What books do you recommend?

I’m looking for a few books regarding the development of the Internet and (online) gaming as social media. I prefer to have something that doesn’t focus on the technical side and instead focuses on the human side of it.

I haven’t read it yet, but it sounds like “The World is Flat” might meet your criteria. It’s a history of the 21st Century.

    “Microslaves” from Douglas Coupland.

The story is about a handfull programers from Microsoft, who start up their own company and are developing a new computer game.
And its all about the human side of it.
