How long until the Republicans are defending Obamacare?

The Republicans were ardently against Social Security, now they defend it. They were ardently against Medicare, now they defend it. As crazy as it sounds, they were telling people about how the Democrats would cut Medicare to try to win their favor to stop Obamacare. They were defending one socialized medicine program to try to stop another. Is anyone else tired of this madness?

My kind? I’m a Thomas Jefferson style, Libertarian Constitutionalist.
In less than 10 years it will be hard to find anyone that will admit they were opposed to it.
Personally I’m tired of ALL OF THEM and those who fight about everything. I’d just like to lose the self serving idiots in Washington and elsewhere-I live in California so you can guess my attitude about the nuts here.
You know what the big difference is? When Social Security and medicare passed, it had around 25%-30% of the Republican vote, so they were at least Bi-Partisan. Obamacare had 0% of the Republican vote. The only thing Bi-Partisan about Obamacare was the vote against it.
We don’t defend social security. Social Security is a horrible system, that will be in total failure within the next two decades. But, we’re stuck with it because millions of Americans have been forced to contribute to it. Medicare is the same thing..
And for the record, Obamacare cuts 463 BILLION from the medicare budget. But it’d be “crazy” to mention that I guess…
And yes, I’m tired of this nanny state madness. I’m tired of your kind expecting the rest of us to pay your way through life.
well there is still things about “Obamacare” that needs to be fixed so I have to say that both sides need to figure a way to make sure that money isnt being wasted on medical things that pepole dont need and try to help more the common americans and not letting ppl take avantage of the system….this would make our medical bills decrease

See, BOTH Parties whine like HELL about what the “other” Party does, but they REFUSE to repeal ANYTHING once they get back in office.
This is how D.C. works.
WE expand government in one direction (while b-itching about the other guys expanding it).
Then, the OTHER Party expands it in ANOTHER direction (while b-itching about the other guys expanding it).
Net result?
GOVERNMENT GETS BIGGER and BIGGER and BIGGER.
HINT: That’s how THEY (the folks in government) like it
DEEPER hint: The phony Left-Right crap gives us the ILLUSION of choice.
In reality, they are just putting a different colored WHIP across your back.
Personally, I don’t care if the whip is RED or BLUE, I don’t want it across my back.
For myself, I will never defend it. I do not defend Social Security or Medicare, either. Both of those programs are constitutional abominations that should never exist.
Politically, however, once people get used to these bad programs, they will never allow them to be taken from them. People get used to the illusion of security offered by government dependency, and do not notice that their essential liberties are being eroded. I guess their chains rest lightly upon them.
Did you know that SS and Medicare are broke? Did you know that after working for 20 or 30 years if you become disabled and cant work you have to take SS to court to get what you have paid for? Did you know that it can take up to 5 years or more to get a hearing and your benefits, and you have to pay the lawyer with your money?
